Our booth at Print 18 in Chicago was packed with the latest technology in the die cutting, perforating, punching, and trimming of folded, saddle-stitched, or perfect-bound books. We featured a high-speed impact Creasing and Folding machine for the bookbinding, mailing, printing, and packaging industries to produce book covers with flaps and leaflets on cover board and heavier stock. We also set the stage for a versatile Folding, Gluing and Affixing machine for the production of short-run digital and commercial print products.
The colorful straight-line and crash-lock bottom boxes were made on our Folding, Gluing and Affixing machine. The changeover time between both styles was less than two minutes and we ran the machine with a production speed of 8,500 boxes per hour. Impressed?
We creased and folded a 8-, 6- and 4-pager on the fastest die-creasing, gluing and folding machine on the market: it creases up to 12,000 sheets per hour with letterpress-quality creasing on boards up to 30 points. That is dynamic finishing. Just imagine: We went from the Folding section with the multipage brochures directly into the Trimming, Die-Cutting, and Perforating machine. Three different steel-rule dies against a steel plate transformed three simple brochures into exciting, eye-catching finished products, all at once. Sounds like a perfect fit.
Who took care of it? A team of experts with high-level mastery and an incredible amount of passion.
